If you're having trouble with the game, please ask yourself these questions:
1.      Have you updated your drivers for the graphic card?
2.      Has Windows XP been updated via Windows Update?
3.      Did you install DirectX9(R) from the disc after the installation of the game?
 
If you answer "no" to any of the above questions, it’s probably the reason why the game doesn’t work properly. If you answer yes to all the above, a Dxdiag file is necessary. To get it, please type “dxdiag” in the search box on the Start Menu of your computer. Then, right click on that file and select copy. Open a new e-mail and paste the file into the email. Then send the email to us at info@pony.us, so that we can analyze it and help find a solution to your problem.

After installation (or if you have a problem later) find the files called:
d3d9.dll
d3dx9_28.dll

They are in the directory of our PONY games and look like this:
C:\Program files\Stabenfeldt\Star Stable Episode 1. Delete those 2 files. (Only from the directory)

How to Dress Yourself
You can buy new clothing, shoes or boots in some of the stable shops. To be able to use the clothes you bought, open your backpack. Then move the clothes from your backpack to a slot on your character’s information sheet. The square gets a green frame and you can then drop the clothing into that slot. You have to place the piece of clothing onto the designated slot to change your clothes – not onto the girl on the character information sheet or on your girl in the game.
