We recognize that some younger children may not understand some of the information contained on the site or how the site operates. That is the purpose of the Privacy Statement. Please discuss this statement with your child/children so that they will better understand how to use the site and the information they may be asked to provide. Stabenfeldt Inc. strongly believes that providing its visitors with accurate and adequate notice about the website will lead to informed choices and decisions about how to use the site, as well as protect its users’ privacy. PONY is owned and operated by Stabenfeldt Inc., is the place on the Internet to find all that you need to know about the exciting world of PONY books, magazines and packages and be a member of the PONY community. While we encourage the interactive nature of on-line media, we also want to educate parents and kids about how to appropriately safeguard their privacy while searching through the Internet. PONY is committed to complying fully with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) of 1998 and our information collection practices are described below. We urge kids to check with their parents before entering any information on any website and we urge parents to discuss with their kids restrictions regarding the on-line release of personal information to anyone they don’t know. What Information is Collected?

At PONY, it’s our policy to create website content on http://www.pony4kids.com that requires a minimum collection of information from our visitors. However, we also want to give our visitors the most exciting and fulfilling visit as possible. To help us figure out what our visitors like and don’t like about our site, we may ask for your opinion from time to time. PONY, through www.pony4kids.com/www.pony.us, may request and/or collect information from you on a voluntary basis when you: (1) register with us; (2) participate in contests, events or promotions; and/or (3) send questions or comments via e-mail. With your permission, Stabenfeldt Inc. uses such information to periodically contact you with product information, news, special offers and relevant announcements.

    E-mail: By allowing you to send e-mail to us through the section of www.pony4kids.com/www.pony.us, we are not attempting to collect any personal information about you. We will only use personal information (such as name, mailing address and e-mail address) contained in your e-mail to respond to your specific inquiry or comments in the e-mail. Although we may retain your e-mail for a period of time, we will not use any personal information contained in your e-mail for any purpose other than responding to your specific inquiry or comments.

Whatever the activity may be, we will only collect information to the extent deemed reasonably necessary to fulfill your requests and our legitimate business objectives. If you do not want to submit personal information when requested, you do not need to; you also do not have to provide personal information to Stabenfeldt to use the www.pony4kids.com/www.pony.us  website.

Who is Collecting my Information and How Will it be Used?

Stabenfeldt collects the personal information you provide on www.pony4kids.com/www.pony.us. We will use the information you submit to our site to send you promotional materials, including information about new products, contests, features and enhancements, special offers, and other events of interest. We also use your personal information, including your demographic information (e.g. date of birth and gender) for our own internal marketing and demographic studies so we can constantly improve the products and services we provide you and can better meet your needs. We encourage our users to read third party sites’ privacy policies before submitting personal information on those sites. Stabenfeldt Inc. also has no responsibility for any information given or received by you or to you on these third party sites.

Opt-Out

If you do not want Stabenfeldt Inc. to send you e-mail or regular mail about our products and/or services, you can opt-out at the time of registration or at the time of information collection. If you are receiving e-mails or regular mail and at a later date, you choose to opt-out and have your name removed from Stabenfeldt Inc.’s e-mailing list, you can do so by sending an e-mail to info@pony.us.

Children Under 13
Parental Consent: Children under 13 may not participate in on-line activities that require registration without the prior written consent of a parent or legal guardian. The consent form must be signed by the child’s parent or guardian and returned to PONY by enclosed e-mail or by mailing to PONY at the appropriate address above. Until we receive and process verifiable permission from a parent or guardian, a child under 13 will be allowed to register on our site but will not receive any information from us. Once we have obtained parental consent, we will activate the child’s e-mail address. Please be advised, however, that certain portions of our website will allow children under 13 to submit personal information, such as a name and e-mail address, without first obtaining their parents’ consent. Such portions of our site (i.e. the Comments Section) operate activities or provide services in a way that does not require prior parental consent and are in compliance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) of 1998.
