Dear Bobbie and everyone else at Pony,

It is both a happy and sad day for us, here in Glen Allen, Virginia.

The happy component is taking this opportunity to share with you how very much our daughter has enjoyed our subscription to Pony these last few years.  “Pony Package Day” was something for her to anticipate and savor each and every month!  She has delighted over the wonderful inclusions – I think the black undershirts, Pony bag, rhinestone studded riding gloves and most recent puzzle ornament ball were among her favorites.  She also read every book until very recently, now that she is in eighth grade and busy choosing a high school.

Horses are her love, and while we don’t expect that to change, little girls grow up.  The sad element today is the decision to cancel our subscription.  As reading pony stories has morphed into volunteering with the Virginia Equine Rescue League, we’ve had to face the reality that Pony days are slipping away.  But there is happiness in this as well, for I suspect that your Chica had her share in shaping Laura’s desire to contribute to aiding other horses and ponies in need.

You were a fantastic part of Laura’s childhood and adolescence and we are very grateful for this.  Dollars to Pony were among the best we’ve ever spent – a birthday gift that lasted every year of the month.  
We’ll miss you!

Dear PONY,  I love your packages!  Favorite books are: Diablo - My Dream Horse, The Horse on the Balcony, and The Mystery Stallion.  I love the horse with crystals.  I also really like the Star Stable game.  My mom says the packages are really great, too!  She was impressed with the Desert Horses book.  I wish I had a horse of my own, but I have friends who own horses.  My favorite breed is the Missouri Foxtrotting horse.  I can't wait for the next package.   Neighs and whickers, Estrella L.

Dear PONY,  Thank you so much for the welcome package.  I enjoyed it immensely.  I love to read, so I thought the books were the best part.  Getting to Know Your Pony was very informative.  In case you can't notice, I also liked the stationary a lot, the flowers along the edges is a wonderful touch.  The watch, hairband, bookmark, poster and DVD are cool, too.  Again, thank you.  Many girls across  the country are able to extend their interest of horses because of  you.  Sincerely, Madison M.
